The T57 is an American tier 2 self-propelled gun.

Experimental SPG designed on the basis of the M3A3. The T57 was developed and tested in the fall of 1942, but was never mass-produced.

Possibly the most well-rounded artillery in tier 2. It has decent gun performance, mobility (though traverse is not very good), and top speed. It's the only one to have good armor.

The T57 leads to the M7 Priest.

Historical Info

The 3in Gun Motor Carriage T57 was based on the Light Tank M3A3 chassis with an M7 gun and a Continental engine.[1] The engine was moved to the middle of the hull and a 3-inch gun was mounted in a superstructure in the rear. The project started in September 1942 and was abandoned in February 1943.
